This is a short account of the CanoeCamping Club annual Easter meet on the Great Ouse, starting from Box End above Bedford, down river to the Old West River and finishing near Willingham, four miles past Earith. A total of 75 people, a mixture of canoes and kayaks, ages from 9 to past 80, some wild camping and and evening meal on the Saturday.
The first day of canoeing involved going down the river to the scout camp at Great Barford, about 8 miles, after teh car shuttle in the morning.
